I tried to think of another tree pun...Can’t we just leaf this thread alone?
It's better than it has been but most of those guys aren't even in the rosterWe are back up to a respectable number of alumni playing in the NFL. This needs to be emphasized whenever possible.

Considering the decade of futility, it's really, really incredible how many alumni are playing at the top level in the NFL at key positions. Crawley and Smith have really balled out at the CB position this year, and Bakhtiari and Solder are two of the top LTs year in and year out. Richardson is turning in a very solid season, too, and there's an outside chance Crosby could be a top-30 all-time scorer by the end of the season. We are back up to a respectable number of alumni playing in the NFL. The third-round pick in this year's draft came to the league with a reputation for playing sticky coverage but needing to get more physical as a tackler. Although Eagles receiver Alshon Jeffery got the better of Witherspoon for a touchdown last week, Witherspoon mostly held his own otherwise.
In fact, Pro Football Focus graded Witherspoon as the Niners' best player against Philadelphia, crediting him with allowing just three receptions on eight targets. It was enough for Shanahan to declare that Witherspoon will continue as the starter and create a path for Robinson's departure.
2 of the top 4 CBs being from CU this week is a bfd. #DBUDamn. Spoon!
Spoon being so good in his first start of his career as to send the previous starter to another team is pretty insane.
(also, it may suggest the 49ers aren't all that good, but I prefer to dwell on the positives)
Reminder that Chido is playing a bunch tonight
