— If Fresno State is the biggest riser, who has fallen the farthest? Vanderbilt. Derek Mason’s defense has had a miserable time ever since facing the Crimson Tide. A 94.4 percent stop rate exiting non-conference play has dropped to 59.3 percent after four consecutive losses. The Commodores have dropped 100 spots — from No. 2 to 102 — in stop rate since Week 3. Colorado (-24.3 percent) and Arkansas (-21.5 percent) also experienced serious drops in their stop rates over the past four weeks.

to be more (roughly) 25% more efficient than anyone else in the nation with the defensive focus he faces... incredible. That Bryce Love number is ridiculous.
not sure we have the best QBs, although there are intriguing prospects. QB talent is pretty spread out this year, and it's a down year outside a few guys. SEC is a wasteland.Crazy that the PAC-12 has the best RBs to go with the top QB prospects and we may get shut out of the playoff for beating up on each other.
Rosen, Darnold and Falk are probably 3 of the top 6 QB prospects. Rudolph and Mayfield are right there, though. Small sample size, but Tate could also be right there with Lamar Jackson to add a 4th QB to the Pac 12 in that mix.to be more (roughly) 25% more efficient than anyone else in the nation with the defensive focus he faces... incredible.

Pac12 represented really well. osu has the Buffs to thank for that 10th spot. But in good news...

Top prospects only because the class is weak this year. Rosen and Darnold have consistency and turnover issues. Rosen has the durability issue, and hasn't won much. Falk has the system QB knock. Best prospect has to be between rudolph and mayfield, with Lamar Jackson having the highest ceiling.Rosen, Darnold and Falk are probably 3 of the top 6 QB prospects. I agree with most of that, although, short of Darnold and USC completely imploding from here on out, I can't see anybody but him being the top QB going into the draft. Rudolph and Mayfield are more intriguing to me, even though Mayfield kind of has a "Johnny Football" aura about him. I think Lamar Jackson is the best college QB, but just not sure how the NFL views him. Rosen kind of feels Jay Cutler-esque. Prototypical everything from a physical standpoint, but so many questions about his attitude.Top prospects only because the class is weak this year. My money is on Ryan Nall not making that list after he plays a real run defense in Stanford this week and the benefit of having played CU becomes 1/8 vs. 1/7 of his output. But in good news...

He's performed every time he's played. He good. Maybe not top 10 good, but he's good. And he's been hurt, so it's like 1/5.My money is on Ryan Nall not making that list after he plays a real run defense in Stanford this week and the benefit of having played CU becomes 1/8 vs. 1/7 of his output.

At this point of the season, you can start to average that out. Everyone has played bad and good teams. To a degree.Without doing the work and looking I'm going to go ahead and guess the guys above Nall have also benefited from gashing some horrible defenses. It's not like Phil's 2 huge games were against the conference elite.
I doubled checked his yards per carry so far this season:He's performed every time he's played. He good. Maybe not top 10 good, but he's good. And he's been hurt, so it's like 1/5.
He's going to be a special teams stud in the NFL.Taz has worked his way into the Draft.
...and we just barely snuck past by a single missed field goal.OSU is the second lowest rated P5 team...wow...I thought they were on a different trajectory!
...and we just barely snuck past by a single missed field goal.
That is one or two positives. Despite injuries, graduations and expulsions leading to a lack of talent on D, they held them. And the O responded. Gives me some hope tho OSU is the least talented team in the PAC.No, we won the game by taking control in the 4th quarter and Oregon State missed a desperation 52-yarder to tie the game with a few seconds left.

Duff Man before the 4th quarter:
"Now, our final round, which counts for 98% of the total score. Making the previous rounds a complete waste!"
It might not be a kind, or comprehensive characterization, but it is true that our only conference win was by the margin of a field goal (which they were close enough to attempt) against probably the worst team in the PAC-12, which doesn't make me beam with pride. We got outplayed in the first half and gradually took control in the second half. Not saying it was a complete game by any stretch, but "barely snuck by a single missed field goal" is pretty lazy and glosses over what actually happened.

Not saying "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" or anything, I am still proud of our boys and think we got some winning ahead.
So you agree it was lazy. Glad we were able to clear that up in less than five posts.
Yeah.....I guess it was lazy.
Screw it.Lame. Consider changing handles.
hey man, he made a joke.Screw it.
i.e. you
What I said was objectively true. You guys don't have to agree with me about how encouraging our impressive win against OSU was. I am and always will be a Buffs fan. I'm looking forward to some fun games to watch and maybe a big win or two. Love to see 'em win.
