Seven games in the state of Colorado.

Great to see ASU in November, when the desert is tolerable. This is a great opportunity for traveling Buffs to finally witness a win in Tempe.

If the Buffs can find a couple road victories out of UCLA, Oregon State, and Wazzu, November could be fun again.

Who is your fifth loss? I could easily see UW, WSU, USC, and Utah.

The conference is improving across the board. I think we will get a major upset at home (UW or USC) and lose a head scratcher on the road (an improved Oregon State or something) UCLA, ASU and UA should be way better.

Going to disagree on UofA. Something is not right with that program.

The South could be a lot better and still be mediocre.

UCLA, on the road, is just as likely as Utah and WSU, IMO. Even if all 5 of those are losses, and you throw in an unexpected one like OSU on the road, or Cal, it still gets us to 6 wins. Since I don't expect all 5 of those to be losses, I believe 7 wins is probably about right, with 8-4 exceeding expectations.

UW right out of the gate then on the road at ucla should reveal a lot. That bye after 11th game is brutal.

7 - 8 wins imho

I think all the Folsom games being on Saturday will be good for season ticket sales. So much easier to plan your fall around CU football with it set up this way (especially if you work and/or have kids).

No Oregon or Stanford. I see both those teams in the top 3 in the north at the end of the year (with Wash), so not upset to see them off the schedule.

Although beating Oregon this year would have been sweet #MFJL

Just looking at other schedules around the Pac-12:

1. Washington's schedule is backloaded in a big way.
-UCLA, Oregon, @ Stanford, Utah, and Washington State in five straight weeks to end the season.

2. We will know a lot about UCLA by the end of September.
-Texas A&M, Hawaii, @ Memphis, @ Stanford, and CU to start the season.

3. Cal is in for a rough ride in 2017.
-@ North Carolina, Weber State, Ole Miss, USC, @ Oregon, at Washington to start. Plus road games @ CU, @ Stanford, and @ UCLA.

4. USC has a schedule that sets up for a playoff run. We may be the toughest road game on their schedule.

5. If Todd Graham survives in Tempe beyond 2017, he will have earned it.
-New Mexico State, San Diego State, @ Texas Tech, Oregon, @ Stanford, Washington, @ Utah, USC, CU, @ UCLA, and Arizona.

I love that ASU should be absolutely beaten up when CU visits (and maybe bowl ineligible).

Good schedule all in all. Would have liked the bye where it was this past year, but it's fine. I like where they put the UW game-good chance for us and the league as a whole to get some national attention while the SEC, ACC, and Big 10 are wrapping up OOC slates.
