Love how Lindsay pushes through everyone when he's close to the endzone. Some real plus plays here.
Improvement in the physicality of the OL would go a long way towards making this happen, but Lindsay not getting caught from behind is the main thing that will determine if that's feasible. He left a lot of yards on the table once he got to the 2d level last year. The thing about this season that gives us the most hope for having another great year (not just making a bowl, but Top 15ish) is that Lindsay might just go off and generate over 2,000 yards of offense over 12 games. The pressure that would take off of Montez and the defense would change everything.
He did leave a lot of yards last year but I'm still encouraged by the significant improvement over the year before. Previously, he would seek contact and punish defenders even if there was open grass. Last season, he had a lot better understanding on when to hit guys and when to avoid them.Improvement in the physicality of the OL would go a long way towards making this happen, but Lindsay not getting caught from behind is the main thing that will determine if that's feasible. Just as we knew well in advance that Sefo would win that award last year, I feel the same about Lindsay this year. While his technique and athletic skills are impressive in their own right, it's Lindsey's Intangibles that stand out.
He is a leader that draws out excellence in others. He demands that the whole team acts like dogs. When he is asked for a post game presser, he brings the whole O-line with him.
He is a front runner for the Buffalo heart.
That is an idea to relish if there ever was one, and all served up to him by the o-line.The thing about this season that gives us the most hope for having another great year (not just making a bowl, but Top 15ish) is that Lindsay might just go off and generate over 2,000 yards of offense over 12 games. Just a bit?! The heck's wrong with you? Can't wait to see Montez and the blackout boys. Mention of the Rockies belongs on some other inferior fan board.Starting to feel the preseason excitement a bit. Very focused on the Rockies right now.

Gary Anderson is a good coach but he hasn't had much success without Dave Aranda running his defenses (25-47 with 1 winning season). We'll see how he does in year 3 in Corvallis.I think Oregon State is going to be a lot better than most people think.

Vegas agrees with you. That game should be a track meet, and which Nick Stevens shows up.I think CSU is going to give them a tougher time than most here.
Like a boss!3 months to kickoff!

Pretty good write up, but he doesn't mention Oliver or Winfree and still has Gillam on the squad.Bill Connelly's Buff Preview is out.

Can't blame him on the Gillam thing. He kind of left without much fanfare. I doubt many besides Colorado fans realize he won't be back.Pretty good write up, but he doesn't mention Oliver or Winfree and still has Gillam on the squad.
