I wonder what put Locksley over the top. Was it his 2-26 record at New Mexico? Or was it the smaller body of work they got to see up close when he went 1-5 as interim HC at Maryland a few years ago?

That was before he went to the Saban Coach Rehab Clinic. We'll see.

I think the 2-15 in conference record was the key
 
2-26 is pretty ugly......and i thought i remembered the name Locksley from somewhere....well, second chances hooray.

i guess Saint Saban, Tua and Alabama anything removes all sins.

though i do gotta say....the way this year's Tide O gets WR's downfield and in the pattern....seems a lot more dynamic and less "SEC" than other iterations of the Tide here in the Great Age of Nick.

He may be like Mike Riley was to Oregon State. One of those instances where a guy and a school belong together and the guy should have never left.
