I think the talent is pretty even. I think the Zags have better shooters, but TTU has more length & athleticism on the interior. Both have a 1st round pick in the upcoming draft.Gonzaga is more talented. But I just love the way Texas Tech plays. Chris Beard is a tremendous coach. Not that Few doesn’t do a great job also. This is a great game.

That blocked shot is the single best play of the tournament. Wow.
I couldn't believe he got there to challenge, let alone block it and save to a teammate. Holy ****. What an athlete.
(Even if he was way out of bounds on the recovery and the refs ****ed up bigly.)
Yep.He was out of bounds.
I'm amazed we see that so rarely, actually. Guys reach over the end line all the time, but we almost never see contact. And then Perkins with a massive screw up. What a game this has been.
Yeah. **** Gonzaga. Some fan tried to fight me at the USF game this year for chanting airball after an airball. I just laughed at him and asked his kid if he was proud of his dad.Great game. Gonzaga sucks. Go Toreros.
I'm never surprised when Gonzaga inevitably loses before reaching the Final 4 except once. This year's team had another great record against the same weak competition but against upper tier teams they went 1-2.
I don't cheer for Gonzaga, but I think they had a very worthy team this season that could have very well won it all. I think where they struggle is with physical teams that have just spent 2 months mostly playing other physical teams. That's just hard to overcome. They've gotten better over the years on the interior, but I still think it comes down to their offense needing to be firing on all cylinders for them to beat top teams. Smaller margin for error than the big conference powers, which can survive a poor shooting night and still win against good teams in the tournament.I'm never surprised when Gonzaga inevitably loses before reaching the Final 4 except once. Losing to St. Mary's in the WCC tournament was telling. I had them bowing out to FSU last round so I'm not surprised they lost. They have the tools but aren't battle tested like other teams.I don't cheer for Gonzaga, but I think they had a very worthy team this season that could have very well won it all. That's exactly what I had in my bracket. I thought FSU's defense would give them fits but the Zags were on fire in that one and dominated the guard play.Losing to St. Mary's in the WCC tournament was telling.
