2019 NCAA Tournament Thread

I have been waiting for this since Ralph Sampson and Jeff Lamp we’re leading the Cavaliers! So happy for this program that has always been an afterthought in the ACC!

Refs weren't perfect but this game was not decided by by the officials. TTU was a very good team that deserved to be there but UVA tonight was a better team that earned a hard fought win.

Wherever Cville is, he's probably lost it. I was rooting for Tech, but Virginia did what they had to.
 
I love College Ball! I love the NCAA Tournament!!!! Still my favorite sporting event!!!! Last night was a great game!!!!!

One Shining Moment..... I hate that song more and more every damn year and I've had it in my head all damn morning.

I'm not as upset with the replay thing as others were. In a game like that I'd rather they get the call correct.

They don’t miss obvious double dribbles like that. I’ve never seen a ref let that go. They also screwed up twice badly last night that cost TT the game possibly. The foul they called on Moretti with 2:45 left in OT was up there with the no call on the double dribble. Guy tripped over his own man’s legs and they called a foul on Moretti who was feet away. He was in shock. CBS blew it not showing that again. TT was up 3 with the ball if they call traveling which it clearly was. They also should’ve called a foul with a min left on Guy when he fouled Moretti. If they do, moretti ties the game. Instead, UVA has ball up 2. The refs helped UVA more than any final 4 in memory and I’ve watched all of them since 1979.

Apparently, you have an axe to grind. I am sorry for you.
 
Anytime you compete, there are going to be calls that are missed. Instead of worrying about that, Tech should be more pissed they screwed up the switch to give that open 3 look.

And had TT won the game have no doubt that some UVA supporters (or bettors) would have quickly come up with their list of calls they didn't agree with to blame the loss on.

As I posted right after the game the refs weren't perfect but they didn't decide the game.
