2020 Draft Buffs

If that happened we'd have pages of AllBuffs saying they knew he would develop into this amazing QB, along with all the times they hung out with him at the frat house.
I hope it happens and every Sunday he comes on talking about his time as a CU Buffalo! I seriously don’t understand the negativity. He was the best QB on the roster according to two coaching staffs. He never did anything big to embarrass us. I wish certain things were better, but if they had a guy that could beat him and take his place, they would have.

Watching Senior Bowl Practices and the cameraman is unable to add Air Montez into the screen!!! I have been critical, but he is capable of outplaying both the other QB's!!! Would love to see him show it this week.

Our luck would be he goes on to become the greatest NFL QB ever and wins 8 Superbowl’s.
Odds are astronomically against it but we talk about it because it happened once before.

It was long before message boards were common but I remember some Michigan fans complaining about Brady and wishing that they could get a "real" quarterback. They complained that he was skinny, wasn't an effective runner, and that he didn't make outstanding plays. They said he was a nice guy and that if he was lucky he could make some money as an NFL career backup.

Scout Feedback on Steven
Huge Arm
Deep Arm
Poor Platform
Slow Twitch Small Area movements
Footwork inconsistent

98th in the nation on positively graded throws. Ouch and seems right.

I hope we surprises all of us for his sake and CU. He seems like a good guy, although I question if he has the drive for the NFL.

I also will disown the Dolphins if they use anything more than their last 7th round pick on him.

Odds are against Steven, but maybe the light has gone on now that he is done with College and his NFL Dreams are real. He made some nice throws and the scouts are intrigued by him. Your Dolphins are going to take the Left-Handed Hawaiian Wonderkind that is injured more than grandma at the nursing home.

So who else has a chance?

Davion Taylor was raw and really started becoming refined late into the season. I could see Taylor sneaking into the 5th round with his speed.

Onu was an athletic ball hawk this year, if he times well I could see him going late day 3.

Tony Brown was another pleasant surprise who might sneak into the 7th.

Abrams has that length that the NFL likes, maybe a 7th rounder as a team could see some developmental potential in him.

Would it be too far fetched for the Buffs to have 5 or 6 guys drafted this year?

I think they have a chance to get 4 draft picks, with Viska, Brown, Montez, and Taylor
Viska is obvious and should go late 1st
Brown is a good receiver in a deep receiver pool, but could go in the 4th or 5th
Montez will get a flyer from someone as a project in the 6th
Taylor is an athletic freak that will be great for special teams and hybrid usage and could slide into the 7th

Abrams and Onu will be UFA's

I think the only one that has a chance of being drafted is Davion because he is seriously a freak and is still learning.

Tony Brown and and Abrams will both get into camps as UDFA's, Montez will probably get into a camp as UDFA. Onu doesn't really have the size and I doubt he has the speed so I don't see that. I hope he can make a team but I just don't see it. If I'm putting money on it, I take 1 Buff drafted this year.

Walter football has Montez going #38. I have to believe someone will believe they can fix his faults.

overall? Walter football is absolutely drunk then. Someone will believe they can fix his faults for sure, but they won't think he needs to be a draft pick. I could certainly be wrong, but if Montez goes in the first 4 rounds I'll be surprised.

Yeah, that's too high, but he'll get drafted because he's big and can sling it.
