2020 MBB Recruit Profile Index

Don't think we ever saw the Buffs offered, but looks like this young man has chosen Utah.

Just checked on all Buff offers per 247 (Edit - link - https://247sports.com/college/colorado/Season/2020-Basketball/Offers/ ), and being too lazy to see which ones have been mentioned here, here's the full list. (QUICKLY eyeballing it and going off memory, looks like most but not all have been previously noted in this thread.) :

Since this thread got bumped, figure I'd give a quick update on what I have read in the last few months/recently. Bryce Thompson has blown up - I was really excited when he visiting us, but I imagine losing English couldn't have helped. Also, he has big time offers now such as KU (not that his previous offers weren't big)...even though he's listed as Warm to CU, no way he's coming to Boulder imo. All the chatter seems to be KU or OU. Mady Sissoko also seems to be a UCLA lean.

As far as numbers go, we lose Gatling and Siewart, and I think we have to be ready for Bey to enter the draft next after next season. I hope he has a monster Jr. campaign and his decision is clear to be selected in the first round. So, at least two spots opening with the potential for three. We also lost Brown. I know the recruiting environment is frustrating, but the staff needs to get some solid guys coming in '20. Otherwise... ...2021-22 will be a really difficult, trying year.

Per the article that can be linked to in the below tweet, the Buffs are scheduled to get an official visit on Sept. 5th from 2020 6'4"-6'5" SG (he says he can also play PG and wing) Dominique Clifford from Colorado Springs ( The Vanguard School).

Direct link to article - https://scoopmantv.com/2019/08/10/dominique-clifford-taking-visits/

247 shows a Buff offer, but not some others noted in the article -

verbalcommits.com shows more offers, but not one from the Buffs - https://verbalcommits.com/players/dominique-clifford

Surprisingly if not shockingly, C-Springs has been quite the pipeline for Buffs -. D'Shawn Schwartz, Josh Scott, Wesley Gordon and considering, Derrick White played for UCCS before arriving in Boulder, you could add him to the list as well.

Now a 4 star SG on 247 and 82nd ranked recruit nationally. Edit: Composite score ranks him at 77th. Would be a nice get for Tad and Coleman.

From a 2nd-3rd party tweet (NOT from the student-athlete himself), but also showing on 247 and Rivals, the Buffs have at some point offered a 6'11"+ JC center currently at Temple College, Temple Texas. (247 shows 11 offers including KSU, USC, New Mexico, TA&M, TCU, etc..)

(Per a Maxpreps page I found for him (https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/carlton-linguard/NdWIg6BuEeaAdqA2nzwY6g/basketball/stats.htm), looks like he went to HS in San Antonio, and just graduated from there last academic year. With him only listed at 200 lbs. on both Rivals and 247 (his JC bio page lists 190 lbs.), I'd guess (???) a likely redshirt candidate where ever he ends up?)

HS highlights -

From his JC team bio (https://www.tcleopards.com/sports/mbkb/2019-20/bios/linguard_carlton_hsmv), he's interested in majoring in Engineering, which I believe (at least in many specialties) is a CU strength.?. This also lists him at 6'11-1/2" tall.

Edit - Found his JC stats - https://www.njcaa.org/sports/mbkb/2019-20/div1/players/carltonlinguardsxuf?view=profile

Great info. Thank you. Could really bolster what the team can do in the paint on offense & defense. Plus, we're losing a ton of rebounding from this year's team.
