2021 NCAA Tourney 1st round game thread- #5 seed Men's bball scheduled to face #12 seed Georgetown (Sat., 3/20, 10:15 AM MT, CBS)

I feel much better about our chances now that Obama has made his picks public, and he took Georgetown in the first round. Also picked all #1 seeds to make the Final Four.

 
I hope Hinkle Fieldhouse has been updated since Oscar Robertson's Crispus Attucks team won state there in 1954.

Georgetown message board is saying the "good news" is that we suck and haven't won on the road. Should we tell them we played the most road games of any team in the country?

How cool is it you get to play in the arena they filmed the championship game in Hoosiers in the NCAA tourney.
 
I have no doubt we can beat these guys physically. My concern is the mental side. Feel like if we hit a good percentage early in both halves, we'll be fine.
