2021 Pac 12 Tourney thread- #3 seed Men's bball (Championship game vs. #5 seed OSU, scheduled Saturday, 3/13, 8:40 PM MT, ESPN)

Buffs look emotionally and physically tired. Missed free throws and turnovers some of the evidence. And OSU's physical defense is doing t its job.

Buffs are in it, but they really have to get their heads and hearts in the game.
 
I feel like Walton almost certainly has to be such a long time heavy stoner there's little chance anyone would know whether he was baked tonight or not. He just comes across as a stoner whether or not he's high.

There's no way OSU stays this hot from 3, but we need to defend outside better.

How many of our points does Battey have?
 
I think the record is getting to them. Tad needs to remind them that FTs only matter for winning the game, and the record doesn’t matter

Pasch is the perfect foil for him. He's got the balance of let Bill be Bill (and the needed sarcasm) and control over the game to be able to work with Walton.

Me too.

Odds are the shooting should even out. EB is hot and he refs leaving him alone. Out of Horne, DaS, Walker, Maddox, Eli, DW, we need 2 guys to get hot, or a lot warmer. We are very much in this game. Need to come out strong, O and D, 1st few minutes.

Man, I hope that was their best shot. We don't always need to settle for ****ing three's, sure take it if it's there and open. Don't force it if it isn't and stop trying to run your O with 5 seconds on the shot clock.
