Dozen Buffs Named CSC Academic All-District

BOULDER – A total of 12 Colorado Buffaloes were named to the Academic All-District At-Large team, College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
The 12 Buffs represent the most the school could nominate for the award in the at-large category that runs across men's and women's golf, skiing and lacrosse, among other sports CU does not sponsor.
On the women's side, two Buffs apiece from the golf, lacrosse and ski teams earned the award.
Sabrina Iqbal and
Morgan Miller from golf were joined by
Madeline Pisani and
Sydney Zimmerman from lacrosse and
Hanna Abrahamsson and
Elena Exenberger from skiing.
On the men's side,
Freddy Eisenbeis and
Jack Holland from men's golf were joined by
Jacob Dilling,
Louis Fausa,
Will Koch and
Jack Reich from the ski team.
Abrahamsson is a three-time letterwinner and as a junior from Eksjo, Sweden, who finished all 13 races this season, finishing in the top 20 in 12 of the 13 with seven top 10 and five top five finishes including two podiums and one race win, taking the 20K classic race at the CU Invitational. She earned an all-important first-team All-America honor at the NCAA Championships, helping secure CU's first team NCAA Championship in nine years. She is majoring in environmental engineering from the CU school of engineer and Applied Sciences.
Dilling is a three-time letterwinner and junior from Vail majoring in Communication. He battled injuries and personal issues throughout the season and on the snow in 2024 he finished seven of 10 races with two top 10 performances.
Eisenbeis is a three-year letterman from Cologne, Germany, and majoring in Finance from the Leeds Business School, with a minor in Art History. He owned a 73.35 stroke average for 20 rounds this past season as a junior, which included a team best 72.13 average in the spring. His best finish was a fifth place showing in Wyoming's Desert Intercollegiate (3-under par 213) and he also tied for fifth at the "Battle of the Dance" in Windsor (143, -1).
Exenberger is a three-time letterwinner earning a double degree in Media Studies and Psychology. In her junior season on the slopes, she finished 10 of 12 races on the season with four in the top 20 and one top 10 performance, which was a ninth place finish in GS at the RMISA Championships.
Fausa graduated from CU in May with two degrees from the Leeds School of Business in Accounting and Finance. With one season of eligibility remaining for the All-American, he finished seven of 12 races with six in the top 20 and five in the top 10 including two top-five performances.
Holland is a three-year letterman from Hampton, Australia, who is majoring in Chemical Engineering from the CU College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He owned a 73.43 stroke average for 23 rounds this past season as a junior, including a 72.73 mark in the spring. He won the "Battle of the Dance" in Windsor with a 12-under par 67-65—132 scorecard, his first collegiate win. He had four top 30 performances and only 14 holes worse than bogey out of 414 played.
Iqbal led Colorado with a 72.88 scoring average in 2023-24, ranking third on the Buffaloes' all-time season list. She had a 4.0 in her lone year at Colorado while earning a Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership. She advanced as an individual to the NCAA Regionals.
Koch is majoring in Psychology in CU's School of Arts and Sciences. A two-time first-team All-American in 2024, he was critical in the Buffs push for a 21st National Championship. He finished all 11 races on the season, all in the top 10 with seven top five performances including four podium appearances and one race win, which came at the U.S. National Championships where he took home the national title in the freestyle sprint race.
Miller is a sophomore majoring in Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design, and set CU records for scoring average (70.40), fall season score in relation to par (-1.4) and full season rounds in the 60s (seven). She finished second in scoring average for the season with a 73.00, ranking fifth all-time at CU for a single season. She advanced as an individual to the NCAA Regionals.
Pisani graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in Communication from the CU College of Media, Communication and Information. She started all 19 games this season and scored at least one goal in every game, totaling 67 on the season with 13 assists, seven ground balls and two caused turnovers. She was both the Pac-12 and IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 20 after back-to-back games against Penn State and St. Joseph's with game winning goals, two of the four she scored. She was named to the IWLCA Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2023 and the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in the spring twice.
Reich is a two-time letterwinner and junior in the CU Leeds School of Business majoring in Finance. He finished nine of 12 races on the season, including nine of the last 10, with five in the top 20 and one top 10 performance, taking eighth in the GS at the Westminster Invitational.
Zimmermann graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Design Engineering from the CU College of Engineering and Applied Science. She played in all 19 games and started four with 18 goals, 10 assists, 10 ground balls and three caused turnovers. She had two hat tricks on the season, the first in a 15-7 win over Cal on March 23 and the second in a 20-5 win over Kent State at home on April 14. She picked up a career-high three ground balls against Northwestern on Feb. 22 when she scored on goal. She was named to the IWLCA Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2023 and the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2021.
