Doubt he gets fired.
I don’t think Stoops is a super high ceiling hire but that seems like a surprisingly level headed hire by them
Third straight losing season.

Go get Rhule. lolLove seeing aTm swing and miss.
Sounds like Elko and Elijah Robinson are the next two leaders in the clubhouse. Elijah Robinson would be… somethingGo get Rhule. lol
Elko always made sense because it's pretty common to target a former coordinator who left to become a HC.Sounds like Elko and Elijah Robinson are the next two leaders in the clubhouse. Elijah Robinson would be… something

Players always want a guy they are familiar with and like (see some Colorado players petitioning for Mike Sanford) so it’s no surprise, but players are also stupid.Elko always made sense because it's pretty common to target a former coordinator who left to become a HC.
Robinson I had to look up and I guess the players are petitioning for him, so there's some pressure to not lose more talent they've invested in. But I don't know. It's not like they beat LSU yesterday.
I’d have to assume that that is the next shoe to drop. Stop giving money to ****ty coaches and give it directly to the players. Here's the weirdest thing with how CFB is these days:
Same thing for CU. We’d be just fine if the AD could pay playersHere's the weirdest thing with how CFB is these days:

Agreed, but I think most programs/ADs would have a limit they’d be willing to spend, meaning the massive TV deals would only go so far. Just like HC contracts. Sure, SEC and B1G programs could spend $20 or $30m/year on a coach, but they won’t.Except it's also a rule that levels the playing field so that those programs that who happen to be members of a conference with a great media deal aren't able to acquire talent CU can't afford.
This setup is favorable for us.
He is definitely back to P5 OC or G5 HC status.

Unless aTm wants him.Would assume Traylor takes over.
It’s a legitimate P5 staff. Not sure why pretty much everyone on it wouldn’t be brought with him. And MSU fans should love it if that happened
Brent Vigen is a name I've seen pop up a few times with New Mexico. Feel like UNM needs to go air raid or something different offensively to be successful....even at that level. He is not going to unm
