There isn't a successful head coach out there that doesn't have an ego, Chev just let his ego get in the way of his relationship with his boss at CU.He acted immaturely, sure. That doesn't make me want to see him fail for the rest of his football career.
Considering the giant cluster we saw it's understandable that he though he could have done a better job, again most guys with ambitions to be a head coach would have. He just let his ambition get in the way of what he was doing.
Now he's paying his dues to work his way back up towards his goal of being a BCS level head coach. The wins and losses will determine how far he goes.
