We'll see what kind of results he gets, but he was probably the top available candidate for that gig.
Michigan is probably the only team right now where this wouldn't be a huge problem.
Sherrone Moore seems like the favorite by a mile to get the job if Harbaugh leaves, but doesn't seem likely to go elsewhere while the carousel is churning.
