Another open P5 job, albeit not one we really care about. Packers DC job filled, though, which was thought to potentially have guys like Jim Leonhard and Al Harris as candidates.

Chip is gonna go hard for that job. He's so fed up with UCLA and all the recruiting, booster, administrative and NIL stuff as a college HC that he even considered taking the OC job at Iowa.Wonder if this opens the door for Chip Kelly to LV?
Really wish they would have figured out a way to bring him to Boulder as OCChip is gonna go hard for that job. He's so fed up with UCLA and all the recruiting, booster, administrative and NIL stuff as a college HC that he even considered taking the OC job at Iowa.

Hard to come off well when you're in "I hate my job and want out, but I'm making too much money to quit and under a guaranteed contract so if I get fired all the better" mode.He has handled it all really poorly.
UCLA admin haven’t handled it very well eitherHe has handled it all really poorly.
USC/UCLA both seem like very diminished jobs by moving into the B1G.Chip is gonna go hard for that job. He's so fed up with UCLA and all the recruiting, booster, administrative and NIL stuff as a college HC that he even considered taking the OC job at Iowa.

The rumors about Kelly saving his job by beating a bad SC team is pure incompetence by them, though. No, but they seem to be making at least more of a commitment than Chip. Low bar, but still.
Could EB fit at UCLA if that gig came open? He was an assistant there under Dorrell back in the day.Sounds like Kingsbury might be heading to the Commanders and already social media rumors of Chip to LV
Trying to imagine the UCLA fans (yes they exist, late to the game but they exist) dealing with losing to Nebraska and their fans (plenty in LA as well) in games for position at the bottom of the B1G standings.Chip and UCLA seem very similar to the last year with Hawkins at CU. Except Chip is actually trying to get out. UCLA admin seems completely disinterested in being competitive and just happy to be in the BIG. Going to be a rough few years
Not hard to imagine…except the Nebraska winning part.Trying to imagine the UCLA fans (yes they exist, late to the game but they exist) dealing with losing to Nebraska and their fans (plenty in LA as well) in games for position at the bottom of the B1G standings.
It really is a perfect scenario for Chip and UCLA. Chip wants out and then UCLA won't have to pay out when he is fired at some point this next season. I am not even sure how you come back from this if he stays.Chip Kelly interviewing for the Seahawks OC job. Really feels like him leaving is destined to happen this year. Going to be interesting when that roster opens up for transfers and who they target at this point.
Huh? He just gets two bad losses at the end of the season excused?
Also, just reading some discussion online, many UCLA fans think Chip's record over the last two years is inflated by a soft non-conference schedule (not a single P5 opponent and two FCS opponents).
The other big issue is recruiting fell off a cliff this year.
