Not too surprising but I wonder what kind of buyout he'll have
So, where do we think he will be coaching next year?ESPN ticker says it's an 8-year extension for Cignetti
They've been dangerous all year. Maybe the best pass rush we've seen in the b12![]()

On the flip side, Neal Brown has to be feeling a lot of heat.
Cannot fire coaches until you know what has to be paid on the House settlement. Winning is secondary to paying the billBuyout amount isn’t too high if WVU wants to go in another direction.

I remember when Tom Herman was a hot name. He had a rough go at FAU.
Edit:
What a brutal profession. Guy goes from the HC at Texas to unwanted by FAU in a span of a few years….I remember when Tom Herman was a hot name. He had a rough go at FAU.
Yeah, I can't remember if it was just names being thrown around or if there was smoke form the AD, but I do remember that.I think CU wanted to kick the tires on Herman at a time?
Damn. And I was really hoping for Herman when I didn't think it was realistic to get Prime. I'm actually surprised he didn't find success there, he did better at Texas than any other coach since Mack Brown.
Edit:
Prime likely has a full manual on coaching rehab from Coach Saban, Herman as OC would be fantasticI'd love to see Herman here as an Offensive Analyst ready to step in as OC if Shurmur gets an NFL gig.
OH, TX and FL recruiting network is very nice on top of him being maybe the guy I thought ran Urban's offense the best. (He was OC/QB when they won the natty with a 3rd string QB.)
Your fired, no, now your re-hired. Bizarre.
