CSU holds the TV rights for the game and has an opposing player promoting it.And I like how Hunter is in that tweet...bloodbath in Ft. Collins?
And 5:30 or 6 pm MT kickoffs, not 8pm...So three straight nationally televised night games to start the season...
To be fair, CBS holds the rights, not CSU, and this is probably going to be the most profitable game for CBS all season considering what they pay for MWC inventory vs what this game will do in ratings.CSU holds the TV rights for the game and has an opposing player promoting it.
And you have to believe Fox picks up at least one of our Big 12 games so that would be all 4 major networks for the first time since... ever?
CU plays Arizona, Utah, Kansas and Kansas State, all of which are likely going to be preseason Top 25. FOX is definitely picking up one of thoseAnd you have to believe Fox picks up at least one of our Big 12 games so that would be all 4 major networks for the first time since... ever?
They have to put (I think) two MWC games on big CBS every year, and the CinC trophy games (specifically Navy at Air Force) don't count. There's no way they were not taking this game.To be fair, CBS holds the rights, not CSU, and this is probably going to be the most profitable game for CBS all season considering what they pay for MWC inventory vs what this game will do in ratings.
Right now CBS has 10 unannounced B1G games throughout the season and I wouldn't be surprised if this one was earmarked as their top choice of any game all season. Maybe with the exception of USC at Michigan, which has already been announced.
Not a ton of big games that weekend, too. You've got Tenn @ Oklahoma, UCLA @ LSU, and Utah @ OSU.I would bet that, if The Buffs start 3-0, the week 4 home game v. Baylor will be on Fox. They obviously love coming to Boulder, and we will be back to driving the narrative again.
So the negative chaotic narratives get clicks, and also likely draw haters to the TV to watch it all blow up, and then if and when we win, they will come back over and over to hopefully see Prime fail. 3D TV Chess, all for itESPN updated their FPI today. Colorado comes in at #36. They’re really high on several spring portal additions we added (and don’t even have the full list!).

Buffs 8 or 9 wins -to- Broncos 5 or 6 winsSerious question: Who wins more games this season... Buffs or Broncos?
Based on how much I hate both Bo Nix and Sean Payton, I expect the Donkeys will win 14 games.Serious question: Who wins more games this season... Buffs or Broncos?

Pretty sure that there were only three major networks airing games in 1990. I think Fox was only using the FSN channels and I seem to remember that did not start until the mid to late 90's
One thing with Kansas is their QB situation. That Jason Bean kid is gone and Jalon Daniels has NEVER stayed healthy for an entire season there.ESPN updated their FPI today. Colorado comes in at #36. Depends on how Baylor does. They have to go to Utah and play Air Force at home. Could very easily be 3-0 vs. a bad 1-2.I would bet that, if The Buffs start 3-0, the week 4 home game v. Baylor will be on Fox. They obviously love coming to Boulder, and we will be back to driving the narrative again.
Yeah, pretty sure Fox didn't have sports at all until they went big and landed the NFL nfc rights, which was 94.Pretty sure that there were only three major networks airing games in 1990. I think Fox was only using the FSN channels and I seem to remember that did not start until the mid to late 90's
