That's crazy to me. They've invested in facilities and gave him enough to make 2 Elite Eights and a Sweet 16 the 3 seasons before this year. That's also a historically top tier program.
Clashes with leadership and not happy in Fayatteville seems to be the most common comments.
And, I forgot about this until just now, SMU will be in the ACC this next season.
It isn't like he's moving out of a P5 conference, in fact he stepped up to more competition.
But by leaving the B1G, he cost himself the fact that if he finishes 15th or higher he's guaranteed a tournament bid.
Kelsey was mentioned a lot before and during the season as a hot candidate. So definitely not a reach.

I’ve watched a lot of Kyle smith post and pregame this year just a standup guy have a lot of respect for him was a great combination of hard working but caring and also just relatable and human.
