2024 Pac 12 Tourney thread- #3 seed MEN'S bball (Las Vegas; their 1st game vs. #6 Utah/ #11 ASU winner, Thurs., 3/14, 9:30 PM MT, FS1)

Trying to be patient with CW. We could really use him playing to a lottery pick level about right now.
 
I don’t know how we’re in this game. We look like total dog****. I know Wazzu’s defense is elite, but **** this.

I haven’t seen anything close to lottery play from him except maybe 2-3 games this year. Lots of injuries, yes. And has the physical traits to be special. But he’s got a long way to go before he’s an NBA contributor IMO.

Keep this up. They're still good, and two of these three referees are flat ass.
 
Offense was pretty garbage but the defense made up for it.

Need to get better at feeding the hot hand, TDS was heating up and then got iced out.
 
27 points is not enough for a half, but we're winning so.... Let's pull this out. Go buffs.
 
Obviously haven't had the fortitude to stay up late to watch games this year, but guessing this is Wazzu's M.O. to play stifling D?
Seems like we're just on the verge of breaking this thing wide open and then they make a good play on D or we miss a shot and back to a 1-2 possession game.
 
This is a rock fight. That last foul, if there was one, should've gone on da Silva, as he was fronting. Lampkin is scary right now with his intensity.
 
Played the pace that Wazzu prefers.

Horrible shooting on decent looks from 3.

Up four points.

Cautiously optimistic for this second half.
 
That’s a testament to the versatility of this team. Offense is a bit off, lean on the defense. KJ not scoring? Feed Eddie and TDS. Cody could end up being the X factor. Love that baseline drive and reverse. Now that’s NBA level!
 
Gotta force Wazzu into a perimeter shooting team and you have to like CU’s chances the second half
