His track record shows his ability to identify talent. He needs to be given the resources to close on recruits. What's amazing to me is that Boyle played PG yet seems to completely neglect recruiting that position.

I think he has some responsibility (maybe not total) to raise those resources. His track record shows his ability to identify talent. He needs to be given the resources to close on recruits.
Yea he has some responsibility to raise NIL funds and change with the new landscape of college athletics. Lots of blame to go around for the results this year.I think he has some responsibility (maybe not total) to raise those resources.
Assume we're talking NIL funds.
Ehh think it’s a fine line and our perception is skewed with Prime…the BYU coach did absolutely nothing to walk into an NIL empire.I think he has some responsibility (maybe not total) to raise those resources.

Your point about BYU and Arkansas is well made.Ehh think it’s a fine line and our perception is skewed with Prime…the BYU coach did absolutely nothing to walk into an NIL empire.
The fact that Tyson and Walmart are Arkansas boosters and has nothing to do with coaches there. What fan bases has rich boosters?
Does 26 wins and 3 draft picks last year did not bring the fans it should have.
The fact that the south/midwest not have a ton of pro teams making the college teams king of entertainment impact that?
I get your point for whatever reason to me Clemson, MSU, Auburn, and (Gainesville) Florida feel like college town markets with big draws regardless because it’s the entertainment in town and around!Your point about BYU and Arkansas is well made.
I'm with you until the last bit.
6/10 top ranked teams are within a two hour drive from NBA arenas:
#2 Houston - Rockets
#3 Florida - Magic
#4 Auburn - Hawks
#6 St. John's - Knicks, Nets
#7 MSU - Pistons
#10 Clemson - Hawks
There's no doubt that Coloradoans like their pro sports way more than college sports.I get your point for whatever reason to me Clemson, MSU, Auburn, and (Gainesville) Florida feel like college town markets with big draws regardless because it’s the entertainment in town and around!
My point is CUs product in those market would have garnered way more support, ticket sales, booster support then we got.
Like Iowa has averaged 14,000 fans roughly with Fran McCaffery as their coach and Tad has a better win percentage than Fran at CU and gets half that? Why? To your point Iowa City is only 3 hours from the Bulls.
But have you driven that 3 hours?I get your point for whatever reason to me Clemson, MSU, Auburn, and (Gainesville) Florida feel like college town markets with big draws regardless because it’s the entertainment in town and around!

I am sorry, but I watched the game.Or do, because apparently it was good luck.

The thing that struck me about Fran’s teams is that he apparently doesn’t given ****s about playing defenseNot this season and their fans are screaming Fire Fran.
ETA: Fran McCaffrey got fired today. He came along after Steve Alford did a number on morale and was replaced by Todd Lickliter who finished running them to the basement.
