2025 WBB Recruit Profile Index

6'0" G from Oklahoma City (Per the below, prospectsnation's #54 ranked recruit in her class.)-

Buffs have made her final 9 -

1st seen by me after just seeing the 1st tweet below, WBB looks to have offered this 6'4" SF from Wynnewoode, PA back in mid August.

After being put in her top 10 in January (see post #20 above), it looks like the Buffs are now in her top 4 -

Per the below, the Buffs have made the final 6 for this Brazilian ~5'11"-6'0" G who is currently attending and competing at Cardinal Newman HS in Santa Rosa, California, while also playing club ball with WhyNot Premier EYBL. (From the 2nd post below, CU offered back on 7/23.)

Per the article linked to below, she's visiting Boulder starting in a few days.. (It also says she already visited the campus previously, and plans to decide and announce her commitment to a school in late September.)

I plan on setting up a separate thread for her soon with more info, but briefly wanted to note here that WBB has received a 2025 verbal commitment from 6'3"-6'4" PF/SF Sophia (or Sophie) Zadel, who is from San Antonio TX and attends Alamo Heights High School, while also playing club ball at Players First Basketball (PFB) AAU Basketball San Antonio.

Welcome and congrats to her!

Wanted to mention that I think I saw a few days ago (although I can't find the tweet any more) that probably the best source I've found for WBB recruiting, wbbblog.com, had updated its Colorado pages. It lists 12 still uncommitted student-athletes the Buffs have offered for 2025 (many but not all already noted in this thread), ~20 offered and still uncommitted for 2026, and 5 offers already out for 2027.

This 6'0" PG from Fort Smith, Arkansas was offered by the Buffs back on 7/16 and she announced today they're in her final 6. (In addition to playing prep ball, she plays with the Missouri Phenom club team. She also seems to have a very nice shot given her 41% from 3 and 88% from the line her last high school season per the Maxpreps stats linked to below.)

Prep stats for her team last season (Looks like she led her squad in every statistical category except blocks.) - https://www.maxpreps.com/ar/fort-smith/northside-grizzlies/basketball/girls/stats/#TeamLeaders

I plan on setting up a separate thread for her either tonight or tomorrow, but looks like the Buffs have received a verbal commitment from this 6'0" PG.

Welcome and congrats to her!

Looks like this 6'3" PF from the Dallas area was offered by the Buffs in late July and visited Boulder this weekend.

She is a 91 scored 4 star in ESPN rankings while being their #97th rated player in her class - https://www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/260895/joy-egbuna

Looks like an offer has gone out to this 6'2"-6'3" F who attends and competes with Pine Creek HS in Colorado Springs, as well as playing club ball with the Hardwood Elite 3SSB program.

Her prep stats (in addition to basketball, competes in volleyball and track and field at Pine Creek.) - https://www.maxpreps.com/co/colorad...asketball/girls/stats/?careerid=e65jha48jv0ee

Was 1st Team All-Conference already in her sophomore year -

Per the below she's committed to the Sooners.

Looks like the team has gone down under to grab its latest verbal commitment. She is Jade Crook, a 6'3"-6'4" C who looks to possibly (???) be from Albury, New South Wales who, per at least one Facebook post I found from her old high school in that smaller (~57K population) city, moved to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the Australian Institute of Sport (looks to be in Canberra) in 2023.

Welcome and congrats to her!

As is often the case, it's harder to find a lot of information on her, although it looks like she's been on many National age group teams. Her stats for those competitions are summarized at https://www.fiba.basketball/en/player/325018/Jade-Crook and https://fans.fiba.basketball/en/players/325018-jade-crook .

Article after the team announced its 1st 4 frosh student-athletes for 2025/26 - https://cubuffs.com/news/2024/11/13/womens-basketball-buffs-add-four-for-2025-26

"
BOULDER – Head coach JR Payne announced the addition of four incoming freshmen for the 2025-26 season on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday.

Logyn Greer (Wynnenwood, Pa.), Sophie Zadel (San Antonio, Texas), Erianna Gooden (Fort Smith, Ark.) and Jade Crook (Albury, Australia) will don the Black & Gold next season.

"We are extremely excited about this incoming class!" Payne exclaimed. "We've worked so hard to recruit great players, great students and great young women who will positively impact our program. These young ladies are going to be Great Buffs."

Greer, a 6-4 forward from Wynnewood, Pa., boasts a four-star rating from ESPN.com and ranks 80th in the ESPN Top 100. Greer surpassed 1,000 career points last season at Friends' Central School and led Friend's Central to the finals of the PAISAA championship. She was First Team All-Friends School League last season. Greer is averaging 15.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in her career and has three triple-doubles. Greer played AAU with Elevate Elite.

"Logyn is one of the most versatile players in the country," Payne explained. "At 6-4, she has an extremely rare combination of size and skill and will be a tremendous fit in our system. It will be exciting to have Logyn's versatility on the floor as she can play multiple positions, and it will be a very tough match-up."

Zadel, a 6-4 forward from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, averaged 14.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game as a junior last season. She's lettered all three seasons at Alamo Heights, averaging 7.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in 87 career games. She had 15 double-doubles last season. Zadel played AAU for Players First Basketball.

"Sophie's energy and enthusiasm will be felt immediately in our program," Payne continued. "She is extremely athletic and has a tenacious work ethic, which will allow her to immediately fit in with our culture of hard work and toughness. It will be awesome to watch Sophie develop as the sky is the limit."

Gooden, a 6-0 guard from Fort Smith, Ark., totaled 19.2 points, 4.3 assists, and 6.6 rebounds per game at Northside High School last season. She's a three-time letterwinner, averaging 15.7 points in 90 career games. She took home MVP honors at the Fort Smith Tournament of Champions, posting 36 points and surpassing 1,000 career points in the overtime win. Gooden played club for Missouri Phenom 17u EYBL.

"Erianna is definitely our kind of player both on and off the basketball court," Payne commented. "She is tough, fearless and genuinely loves the game of basketball. At 6-foot, Erianna can play all three guard positions and will have an impact on our backcourt right away. I can't wait to compete with her in the Black and Gold."

Crook, a 6-3 center from Albury, Australia, represented her country at the U18 Women's Asia Cup in China this past June. She helped Australia to the semifinal round, averaging 7.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. She posted 12 points and nine rebounds in 17 minutes in Australia's first game against Malaysia. She also played for Australia at the U17 and U15. Crook averaged nearly nine points and seven rebounds a game last season for Basketball Australia Center of Excellence.

"Jade is going to be someone who brings toughness, work ethic and tremendous inside presence right away," Payne stated. "She is extremely hard working and very focused on her craft. She loves to be challenged and has the ability to attack her development, which will allow her to grow very quickly in our system."

The Buffs are back in action on Sunday, hosting Southern at the CU Events Center (5 p.m. MT).

Offer out to this 5'9"-5'10" PG who is the #57 ranked player in her class in the 2 (free) rankings I could find for her class.

2 national rankings and 1 that has her as #1 in Arizona:
