Real question Duff - You've also been my barometer when it comes to recruiting, and mostly you've been broken for a long time.

What do you think about the volume of cuts and the growing... outrage? from some media and CFB fans about what is going on?

Rough crowd this morning. While I'm uber excited, I keep reminding myself that this debacle is not the players fault, but rather Dorrell's (and RG's). Dorrell was completely incompetent and it pisses me off he buried this program the way he did. I still can't comprehend what RG was thinking.

Yeah, I think it's important to remember that. I think it will ultimately be a more fulfilling experience for them to play at a more skill-appropriate level.

I think the cuts are way deeper than I expected, but Prime clearly has a plan. He is just gaming the system created by the transfer portal. Most of the outrage is manufactured, college football has never been close to pure.

HCP is a well-spoken, highly intelligent person who is fully capable of correcting his own grammar on the fly as he speaks. So, when he speaks/tweets idiomatically, he does so on purpose—to make a point creatively, engage a meme accessing a larger context, or even waxing a touch poetic (which he is quite adept at doing).

To suggest that it’s inappropriate to simply note his grammar or choice of words in a particular instance is to imply he needs to be protected because he doesn’t know any better, that he doesn’t understand grammar (for racial reasons?).

Now THAT is a far more insulting and a bigger problem than someone simply noting that the language used falls outside standard English grammar in a joking manner (which may apply to all of Twitter).
