I have the biggest man crush on Vick of anyone West of the Mississippi, but Sanders had a better career with Atlanta (and NFL overall). Vick had more potential... if only.

Edit: wierd to be discussing them both in same post. Talking to a buddy about 20 years ago we decided that Vick could've been the next Barry Sanders if he had been coached as a RB from HS on. But with that arm, zero chance he wasn't going to be a QB.

I didn't really follow other teams other than CU at that point, but I watched that whole game completely sober and was rage screaming that some little shrimp (Barry Sanders) was running all over us.

I wasn't able to put it in perspective until he won the Heisman later that year.

I was also there. He just abused the Buffs. I remember one play that happened in front of us. He was running full speed towards the sideline and just stopped on a dime. The defender flew past him, and he continued on his way. Barry on turf was just not fair.

I thought we could just tackle Derrick Henry in high school by wrapping up his feet. Then he ran for 400 yards
