oh yeah. and I didn't think it through, I guess Nik is right the problem can be easily solved by just throwing NIL money at it.I’ll take this problem…

This has to be the way it’s going to be. We can’t pay this level of money, bring in this level of energy, and F it up with a backwards-ass, middling old man gatekeeper.I’ll bet Saliman told PD, “What Prime wants, Prime gets.”
I’m getting dizzy already … it’s only 6am on SUPER-TRANSFER Day!LOL Coach Prime did introduce us to our new QB yesterday. Get Trey Sanders here NOW. 5 star RB out of HS who commits to Alabama and tweets at Deion saying he wants in?
Defensive Line too.
Just the general context of this analysis is so miles away from any QB CU has had in decades…He's going to be really good with a chance to win the Heisman. I compare him to Bailey Zappe with a worse deep ball and better legs with a pre snap read as good as Jake Fromm out of Georgia. He's a very accurate and smart QB. He's constantly getting better. Pocket QB. Reader of the game.
He can play but he isn't quite a NFL prospect yet. He's close. That deep ball has to improve and obviously you want to see his style of QB against better competition. If he was a freak athletic with great size, I wouldn't care but he's a cerebral QB who's precision based. I definitely think he could be a 1st round pick in time. I would like to see him behind a much better OL. JSU OL is not good at all. It's bad. Decent in the SWAC and good in some games but overall, most of these kids aren't talented on the OL.
If I had to compare him to Cam Ward. I would say when Cam left UIW, he was more talented, a lot less polished. Even Lindsey Scott Jr who replaced Ward put up superior numbers with far less natural talent than Ward. Sanders is talented but not overly talented. He's overly smart and extremely accurate. Does not miss many throws and you don't see as many spectacular catches because his balls are on target. You do see him some WR drops though. Shedeur is always improving. I'll say that as well. His mobility is miles better this year, than last year.
I'll say he's better than Ward when Ward came out but he's not as talented as Ward. I saw a lot of Ward at UIW. I also saw a number of Scott Jr games at UIW. Who you have around Sanders will matter even more than Ward because Sanders is not as talented.
I did not know that. good stuff!Another interesting rule change, any transfer student coming in for competition in the 2023-2024 academic year is guaranteed athletics related aid until they exhaust their eligibility or they complete their undergraduate degree, i.e. they can't be cut.
They’re scared
All of this quickly becomes a swing and don’t miss prospect.I did not know that. good stuff

TILUnc is what we call elders in the black community.
I do wonder why a guy like this would leave Bama. I get the depth guys who want an opportunity, but starters at blue bloods leaving??

I'm hoping they all love Coach Prime but only at a P5 school.I do wonder why a guy like this would leave Bama. I get the depth guys who want an opportunity, but starters at blue bloods leaving??
Guy is (potentially) convincing starters are blue blood programs and guys on blue blood commitment lists to (potentially) jump ship for Colomother****ingrado. Biggest Alpha in the sport right now.I'm hoping they all love Coach Prime but only at a P5 school.
Yeah, pretty much. Then again, he would have struggled behind some of the OLs Colorado has had but when you guys had Ryan Miller, he would have shined behind those horses.Just the general context of this analysis is so miles away from any QB CU has had in decades…
I lived in Alabama as a kid (military). I can think of a few reasons not to want to stay.I do wonder why a guy like this would leave Bama. I get the depth guys who want an opportunity, but starters at blue bloods leaving??

Totally understand, but that guy has one season left before he's eligible for the NFL and is presumably going to be a 3 year starter and compete for a Natty next year. Just seems like an odd move, even if you are fascinated with Prime.I lived in Alabama as a kid (military). I can think of a few reasons not to want to stay.

Maybe he's feeling like he's done getting used/yelled at by Saban, he's gotten what he needs from Saban as his ticket is already punched, and now he wants to go be great with Prime for a year.Totally understand, but that guy has one season left before he's eligible for the NFL and is presumably going to be a 3 year starter and compete for a Natty next year. Fair. You do have to wonder just how much NIL $$ there is at CU. I mean, this is amazing and I'm sure there is a lot of money, but if all these blue chip players and established high end players playing the Free Agency game are looking for big NIL deals, I can't imagine Prime can afford more than few big fish. He's a free agent, and has opened bidding.
I think it's going to be the limiting factor. Even if we have untapped resources, those resources are not going to match up with what those kids are seeing from other schools. Some won't care, but many will. I will take being in the game over refusing to even try howeverFair. You do have to wonder just how much NIL $$ there is at CU. Then again, his sales pitch of, "I don't want them focused on NIL, I want them focused on NFL" is pretty great and maybe he's able to pull it off
Not knowing his personal situation, maybe he has a specific and urgent need for money sooner rather than later. But bama of all places could provide, you'd think.Fair. I do think Prime can make up for it a bit just by who he is and being able to offer something. Then again, he got Walmart and other companies to make big investments in Jackson State, so maybe CU truly will have big time NIL money at some point. You have to think there are some companies out there wanting to be associated with what's going on right now.I think it's going to be the limiting factor. That is an x factor. And I think it requires him to win a bit first. If he does, our NIL money really could get ridiculous. But maybe he's got a few things ready to roll off the bat. It is important to remember that he He repeatedly says he doesn't like the "Nils"I do think Prime can make up for it a bit just by who he is and being able to offer something.
