'23 GA WR Adam Hopkins (Signed to COLORADO)

I've heard whip route as well, not everybody uses the same terminology for the same thing. Very true using it in the red zone especially against straight man or man under.
All of which assumes timing and an accurate QB. Hmm. Why hasn’t it worked here before?

Because we haven't had one in awhile. We do now, actually 2.

Is everyone just going to pretend like they didn’t notice that Luke is a Golden Girls fan?
I wasn't exactly a fan, had family members that were. Funny little tidbit, I'm pretty sure Sophia was the youngest on the show. Doesn't matter, glad to have Mr. Hopkins. (y)

Maybe the most telling thing about the level of recruiting is that we pulled a friggin' 4* WR out of Georgia who had a UGA offer and it isn't the biggest story of this cycle.

Think about that for a minute. Let it percolate. We are so ****in comin!

Interesting. Definitely a crazy good athlete.

Hopkins was a 4* WR on the Composite, but 247 scouts rated him as a 4* CB.

Here was the scouting report:

PROJECTION

Power-5 Starter

A dynamic two-way athlete that has made plays at both wide receiver and cornerback on Friday nights. Size unverified, but believed to be pushing 6-foot. No track times on record and limited testing data available, but pulls away from defenders in the open field and has one of the faster verified max speed numbers in the class of 2023 according to one database. Dealt with subpar quarterback play as a junior and totaled just 350 receiving yards, but got off to a hot start as a senior hauling in three touchdowns passes in his opener. Understands how to stack defenders and get vertical on the outside. Does a nice job of tracking the ball through the air and will get aggressive at the catch point. Advanced ball skills also stand out when he’s on defense as he will swat away what should be easy completions. Overall, should be viewed as a mid-sized skill player with some juice that could carve out a role on either side of the ball at the Power Five level with coaching and seasoning. Will need to keep improving as a route runner and learn how to create separation on Saturdays if he finds himself in offensive meeting rooms once on campus, but could avoid a redshirt by finding his way onto some special teams units. All-conference upside.
