'23 TNFR ATH Travis Hunter (Signed to COLORADO)

This video made drew Carter a lot more appealing for the hoops team over the football one
He looked good because he was tremendous in HS

He also played basketball at Tigard and is one of Oregon’s top basketball prospects, as well, ranking as the state’s No. 5 player by ESPN and receiving scholarship offers from several Division-I schools … Future150 ranked him as the nation’s No. 33 prospect and No. 2 combo guard back in 2016 … He averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assist per game as a junior when he was the league’s Player of the Year and earned first-team All-State honors.

He looked like a legit hooper

After absorbing all of the media days' stuff with Travis and Sheduer, I am actually really hopeful that the WR stuff for Travis is not locked in or the plan is to have him more on offense than defense.

A lockdown cover corner is a higher commodity than a wide receiver in the NFL.
Coach Prime is the greatest CB ever, and will continue to teach Travis how to be the best.
Having Travis opposite Cormani against a league full of the best QBs in the country is a great stage to be on.

So, what is the absolute truth about him focusing so much on WR instead of CB?

He’s going to play both. He is NFL ready as a CB. He has to learn the nuances of WR, hence any kind of focus on that over CB right now.

I get that, but whenever anyone asked Travis about Defense or CB, he says, well I am on the other side of the ball.
He may be a freak, and feels he has CB down, and having him play both ways will be awesome, however, please go out and shut down all these PAC12 Qb's

Coach Kelly said that they had him focusing on O in spring because he’s ready to go on D, and they wanted him spending more time getting up to speed with the offense

How about we let the coaching staff make an informed decision here? This sounds like pearl clutching here.
