Really strong endorsement from Butler's Dad:
Yeah, it is. It helps with certain aspects of it. End of the day, this young man needs to make HIS decision. He worked for it, it's his.Huge benefit to these kids when they have a parent who has gone through the process themselves.
Understanding the recruiting process and being able to see through some of the promises to find the realities can make a big difference in a kid making the right decision.
For any kid going from High School to playing a major college sport is also a huge transition. Can't do anything but help to have a parent to guide and support them through that process.
That same parent can also help the kid to get the maximum benefit out of their time on scholarship, to get the academic benefits as well as playing their sport.
Absolutely, just very helpful to have someone he can trust to turn to who knows how the system works, and doesn't.Yeah, it is. It helps with certain aspects of it. End of the day, this young man needs to make HIS decision. He worked for it, it's his.
Smalls' dad. I was confused, too, and deleted the link for him from my post in this thread.I am confused, is https://twitter.com/jbtha1andonly Aaron's dad? His tweets are all about Sav’ell Smalls
.9531 on the composite is big time, would be our 13th highest rated recruit ever.Aaron Butler is a top 100 rated player in the country. I'm excited to see how many CU fans whine and moan about another WR rather than DT.
