I’m still always going to maintain that Colorado Prep QBs aren’t worth recruiting. Sorry, but it’s not just a coincidence that none have amounted to anything in college. Even Creek and Valor QBs haven’t been any good. The level of competition and QB coaching here is just not good
We’ll see. Athleticism isn’t really what I’m talking about. Besides, 2024 is a blue chip QB recruitment. Like program changing 5* possibilities.
History says you are right.

I don't think it has anything to do with athletic ability.

Bigger factor is that the kids in states like California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, etc. are either in HS games or 7 on 7 throwing to and/or against D1 quality WRs and DBs. Watch even the best games in Colorado and then one of those states and the speed and skill levels are on different levels.

Because of this in those states they also end up using more advanced defenses.

Much of playing QB is not only being able to read and recognize defenses but doing it at game speed. Colorado just doesn't provide that.
