Signed to other '24 TN ATH Boo Carter

Oh I believe you, I just don't get how a recruit can practice with the team before signing a Letter of Intent, let alone before officially being a student
He’s spying on practice in case we play them in the playoffs next year.

Would be awesome if he pulled a Retzlaff and unenrolled at UT and enrolled at CU

Definately a talented player, could be a difference maker early.

Have no idea what is going on with him at Tennessee, sometimes the player is the probem and his talent doesn't make up for it (Cormani McClain) other times a different fit makes all the difference.

105 man roster leaves plenty of room take a chance on this much talent. If he turns out not to be a good fit Prime won't hesitate to send him down the road.

It's only right that CU people who have built a relationship with this young man continue to support him and give him the security of knowing that he will not be kicked to the curb if things aren't working out in Knoxville. Shame on them for trying to spin that as meddling.

Here is an article that expands on Bosello's comments:

https://atozsports.com/nashville/vo...-rumors-vols-most-important-players-football/

Then I found this odd blog, probably clickbait from June 15 saying he has been suspended from the team for 2 years?

I downplay the 2nd blog, since Bosello does not mention any suspension in his article, and if Boo was truly suspended: (1) Bosello/Heupel would just say so; (2) Ourlads would not list him as starting nickleback; and (3) Boo was recently picked All-SEC Pre-Season Honorable mention. He is easily one of their best 5 players, if not the best play-maker. He was All-Sec Frosh last season. Clearly Boo wants to be a 3-way player, and perhaps did not get the reps he envisioned at WR in the Spring and it maybe is boiling over? He was p*ss*d Nico left the team and maybe not too crazy with the replacement QB(s)? Boo was thinking of bolting in the fall portal, but they signed him to a new NIL deal in December and he was then "all in."

With Nico leaving, I'm wondering if all is well with TN's NIL deals--sort of like Sluska at UNLV last season; or it could be something else like grades, McClain situation, just general unhappiness, or something else. Also, TN lost a starting safety to Miami. Some of this could be Boo looking at whether TN is going to be a decent team this season.

The only meddling Colorado would be doing is Boo saying: "if I played for Prime, I would probably be playing both ways like TH, so this whole thing sucks."

A last odd detail is their stud LB talking about Colton Hood and Boo a week ago at SEC media days. Sounds like Boo is firmly in the fold, again not suspended. Ourlads penciled in Hood in as 2nd string LCB. Maybe Boo does not want to play nickle expecting to be a lock-down corner and WR? Maybe Boo was close with Nico or Slaughter?

For what it is worth. If Boo leaves, unless he is just a mess CU/Prime would be an option.

Has Sanders demonstrated as a HC that he can deal with a head case and keep him in line? His disciplinarian routine seems to work with players who aren't known problems, but I legit don't know the answer to the question.

We used to say that Frank Beamer could handle one or two at a time, until Markus Vick broke him.

I think it's a very safe assumption that anyone who has been a college football coach for 5 years without scandal has successfully managed a number of head cases.
