Just like with CB Colton Hood and S RJ Johnson, 247 had put out articles on how good of a spring Augustave was having before entering the portal. His RB coach left to be the RBs coach at TCU in March, may have played a role in his transfer.

Also worth noting:

Sounds like Arkansas’ RB was deep and experienced last year so breaking into it was no small task.
This is an upgrade at RB! Big and fast with good vision. An SEC RB.

We lost Edwards and brought in very good young backs stuck behind experienced starters from Ohio State and Arkansas (who still got carries!). I’ll take this RB room going into fall. Absolutely.
