Uncommitted '25 FL LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng

Greg Jones was a 5 star before the Rivals and 247 era made stars a thing. He was good, but he never quite lived up to his potential. Came out of high school around 200 lbs (not the 215 listed in this) and never put on the muscle to be great. #2 LB and #20 overall in the 1992 class according to Tom Lemming.

Edit: My recollection is that he never cracked 230 in college, but Wikipedia claims that his NFL playing weight was 248. 🤔 Played 6 years in the league.

He was maybe the biggest athletic freak I have seen up close. I believe he won state in the 110 hurdles his senior year of HS. He was a legit 245 in college and would just run by OT’s all the time. Nike did a commercial for him, remember the “Congratulations to Greg Jones for tackling Barry Sanders” commercial?

Idk if y'all remember Matt Herian that played for Nebraska 20 years ago, but he was a TE.

I ran against him in HS. He was 6'5" prob 230 at the time, and ram a 10.7, 100 meter
