Would be a shock if he didn’t end up at Iowa, never knew Epenesa had so many family connections to CU too bad we couldn’t have leveraged that with his brother A.J.
Yeah Iowa the heavy favorite

Maybe, but I think they genuinely enjoyed the CU trip. Just look at Eppy's tweets. They made a visit to Utah the day prior to coming to Boulder and he just gave the obligatory "We had a great time at Utah, thank you to the staff", followed by a series of 4 or 5 messages and numerous pics detailing the CU trip, family ties, etc. It was a very different tone and I think CU has a legitimate shot, even if we aren't the favorite.

Tifwiw but the other brother Eric Epenesa is a walk on at Iowa right now
They're very different situations though. And Eric may be done by the time Iose hits campus. We can't discount the Iowa connection and it's proximity to home, but much stranger things have happened in recruiting over the years. Just ask Cormani McClain.

I think we can get our Poly jam back going mainly cause of Prime and his “old school” approach. Mac and Prime are religious, that attracts Polynesian parents. The other 7 in between not so much and they never had Poly cred

We have seen lots of cases where we thought we had a shot with a kid because his brother or some other close family member was in Boulder only to see them go elsewhere.

Coach Prime is a different guy than we had before.

Get a kid on campus, let them experience what is happening here, let them meet Prime and his staff here and I think we have a real chance with any kid.

They averaged 17.4 ppg with six Defensive TDs. Remove those and they are down to 14 ppg. Are they really going to average an extra 8-11 ppg in 2023 for Brian to reach that 25 ppg mark?
You see that the 25 ppg doesn’t have to only be offensive points? Ferentz is hitting the portal hard for defensive playmakers and kickers who have Crosby distance.

Ain't no kickers with Crosby distance!
