The backup comments are strange. Outside of Seaton, Carde, and Ryan Miller he is one of the best OL prospects we’ve seen at CU in 20 som’n years. Will be given a long look at RG, LG, RT
He'll absolutely be given a long look at both guard spots...and if he starts, he'll have earned it because we have a lot of guys with a lot of experience at those two spots.

I genuinely think Gooden starts game one. He's a different kind of beast.

Guards will be all battling it out. The other thing about CU is they aren't afraid to rotate players in and swap lineups when they don't think something is clicking. I would expect we will see at least 8 or 9 Lineman play next season.

By that logic, we only need 24 players on the roster: starters and two kickers. It would be a massive cost savings.

We have 105 scholarships to work with next year. We should be bringing in as many guys to compete at every position as we can.
Brown doesn't start anymore, may not even be 2nd string. Someone above said he'd be in competition with a bunch of players, including Brown.

My point was if he isn't better than our backups, we should probably go elsewhere. I have no idea if he is or isn't.

At this point, I think Brown is behind Benson, Harden, The ULM kid, Ogundiyi, Gooden, and hopefully Owens progresses if he's finally in shape.

Him (Owens) still being here is encouraging because it means the coaches see something.

So I definitely think this kid is better than a Tyler Brown.
