It must suck in knowing this is probably your best team ever, but it's not even good enough to win a conference title. Sad.

Missouri's last conference championship was sharing the Big 8 championship in 1969. We've won or shared 5 since then (1976,1989,1990,1991,2001) so I think our expectations are a little more reasonable, considering that Missouri blew their best chance at a title since the seventies. Maybe by the time Blaine Gabbert is picking his nose on national television (like Chase Daniel) you'll get another chance.
