Some idot on ramnation said CU is the worst P5 team... haha
Yup. You NEVER go for two before the 4th quarter. I can’t understand why that hasn’t been drummed into every head coaches head by now.Rams went for two in the third and missed. Now they are down by 9
They legit just lost to a team that was expected to be one of the worst G5 teams at home, so...Some idot on ramnation said CU is the worst P5 team... haha
A little extra motivation for UH tonight. Between the volcano and the hurricane, it's been a rough year for the islands. Solidarity and pride could drive a surprising performance in this game.
Should we read into KJCS throwing for 500 yards and 5 TDS??
He's a pretty good QB. Nice mobility in the pocket, too. He has some quality WRs to throw it to, including his outlets to TE and RB. But the OL looks suspect and Hawaii wasn't capable to force too many throws into tight windows, so can't read too much into whether that offense translates against a better opponent. I don't think the CSU offense is as good as the team that almost hung 60 on Oregon State in the opener last year and then managed 3 points against a bad CU defense.

:Cry:How confident are you in DJ Eliot‘s ability as a coach?
This was not the year to play three P5 Teams on your OOC schedule. Likely should be 0-4 and no chance against Boise, so they have a very thin margin for other games.
Wyoming's defense is frickin nasty!
15-0 late in the 1st half and I don't think NM State has a 1st down. Very close to negative yards.
Obviously a good sign their O got Hot but still pretty had. Defense didn't step up either when it matteredDamn CSU.
Talk all you want about a comeback, they were down 30 to Hawaii at home.
That's fugly.
Yep. Will be a good test for them, but they looked really good last night.Best DC on the Front Range is in Laramie. The Cowboys get Wazzu in Laramie next week...

One thing that kind of got lost was the amount of risk Hawai'i took on 4th downs. They went for it, and were successful, a lot more than your standard team. Without that success (luck???), I think this game turns out vastly different and were all sitting here like, "oh ****, the Buffs better watch out." That being said, CSU still couldn't prevent all those fourth down conversions...but do the Buffs attempt that many?
So will Wingard. Maybe a top 5 Safety in the countryGhaifan and Granderson will be NFL guys. The MLB from Casper probably as well. It's a beastly defense.
