Uhh, isn't that the concept of paying somebody to endorse a product? You pay them with the expectations that their connection to it will make you more money.
Do you think that the companies that pay Payton Manning or Shaq millions are doing it because they think they are great guys who need the money.

I love it. But the way this is being portrayed nationally, it’s like she’s never seen the team make a bowl game…much less numerous conf championships, a natty, and a Heisman.

The national media won’t know this, but this is the first since Betty died (we had a bowl in 2020 but Peggy couldn’t travel).
They likely know this, and are looking forward to the tear jerking NBC Olympic coverage-esque video they promote a few days before the game to generate more viewers.
She's a nice lady. I wonder what she thought of the rest of the art in there.
