I wouldn't ever say I hate an amateur collegiate athlete, especially not one who plays for my favorite team. He hit a couple huge shots but he's still the player we thought he was. 0 assists despite dribbling the air out of the ball and gets lost on defense all the time. He's a 6th man, bench scorer.

Heh. I love the shot. Of course, had Ski just made both free throws just 20 seconds prior, he never would have had to take that shot. He was big timing us!

he's a solid part of the team, and isnt NEARLY as bad as this board makes him seem sometimes. I'll admit that he takes some ill advised shots sometimes, but he's in college.
I'm sure if any of you all are anything like me, there was plenty of stupid things you did when you were at the university.
Without him, we dont win today - and not just b/c the shot. He shot as good as anyone on the team from 3 (50%) and played solid D.
Who would you have put in instead, XT?

It wasnt from the rushing the court by the fans. if you watch the replays 321 times like I have today, it's the team that tackles him and when (im guessing) the shoulder injuring fall comes.
 
Ski mentions it as sort of an off hand comment in an interview - I think with ESPN. he said something like "My shoulder hurts now but I'll be fine tomorrow dont worry"
 
I was disappointed in several of his games this year. Yesterday though was great. He put down two daggers one right at the end of the half one at the end of the game. That's what a big game player is supposed to do. He played like a junior leader yesterday. He played closer to his potential. I hope it is the beginning of a big season from him.

One would think/hope this game was a huge boost psychologically.
 
When he is in balance he is a good shooter...his shot selection still leaves a lot to be desired but it was good against Kansas IMO

what shot that he took versus Kansas did you not like. His shot selection has been very good this whole season. (except for the Baylor game)

I seem to recall one long contested two late in the first half, about halfway through the shot clock. He also had an ugly 3 at the end of the shot clock later in the game, but that wasn't his fault, that was a clogged toilet offense possession. This is who he is though. One bad shot per game can be lived with that performance.

Uncontested 15 footers? Yes. He has proven he can make that shot consistently. I also want Ski taking uncontested 15 footers. I don't want him taking contested 19 footers.
