Play of the season

Play of the year is tough because it can mean many different things.

Most spectacular exhibition of athletic skill.

Most pivotal play - however you want to define that.

Biggest impact play - again lots of ways to evaluate that.

The latter two are really hard to quantify and evaluate, but the first one is easy.

And I always take the easy answer, which means Bobo's catch wins, hand down.

So great that we had so many great plays this year.

I voted Spoon's interception. Like mentioned, I jumped outta my chair when that happened and knew it was a defining moment. Especially beating the O on the road. It also represented how the defense and its (underrated) secondary were such a key part of our wins and success.

Interesting with Spoon's pick. He had the play in the SC game where he had the pick and the WR took the ball away from him.

That one would have clinched the win over SC and likely would have pushed us close to the top 5.

Shows how far this program has come simply having players capable of making these kinds of plays against this level of competition.

Spoons int. Went from us getting ahead to "same ole CU" to that interception.

We've had so many close calls, but that catch meant the D was for real and was going to be the stronghold. Winning at Autzen was key for a team thinking a lowly bowl was it's hope.

I voted Oliver simply because there wasn't a win I wanted more this season than UCLA after the hear break of the last 2 years.
