Defense made plays but on 3rd downs in second half, they gave up way too many big plays. The offense just needs to get tougher running the football, there is improvement on that side of the ball for sure, just need to start winning period.
more juice boxes, if only, and what if.
Bottom line is we tanked, failed and choked. Any other spin is spin.

I'm hurting, guys. These kids have learned how to fight, just have to learn how to finish.

Another big thing, students seem to be more excited to. This team is giving them a reason to show up knowing it's not going to be like showing up in 2011 or 2012 or 2013.
Give me a freaking break. Go back and read the season prediction threads, most in tehre are saying they want to see weekly improvement and a competitive team...and that's exactly what we are seeing.
I always thought Oregon St was a better chance than Cal since it's at home. But, we'll see. Cal may suck serious ass.
Oregon State's QB is awesome. NFL material. Maybe the strongest arm in the conference. Throws a frozen rope. Not very mobile though (a classic pocket passer).
Can't really tell anything about the 3rd-best known OSU because of their schedule but tonight's game against USC should tell us much more
Never did I guarantee a win against CalI thought that in the prediction thread, most were saying Cal was our best chance for a conference win and some (ahem) were practically guaranteeing a win.
It'll be a quiet plane ride home. This was a game of inches. There were so many pivotal moments in which to ruminate.
The team with the most heart won today. By a hair.
Hope USC physically manhandles them
The 3rd quarter, again, was brutal today, I await the game where CU outplays an opponent after coming out of the locker room.
Why can't this team start second halves as strong as the first?

Yep. We just can't keep doing this. First couple possessions of the second half are so crucial. They set the tone. Imagine a strong start with us reeling off a 14-0 run instead of someone else for a change. I have no idea what we're doing at halftime. Something about our routine is broken, it seems. There's a disconnect. It has happened too many times over these 1.5 seasons.
Hurting is better than numb.

I saw improvement but I have serious issues with the lack of adjustments or change of personnel. Why would we not attempt to change the kicker or have a different set of linemen near the endzone.
The coaches must think beyond the playbook.
