Lots of flawed teams this year and some traditionally great teams are down. Looks like it's going to be a wild season with a wide open March Madness. There do seem to be an inordinate number of upsets this year. I remember years past where we would have several undefeated teams long into January and even February.
Looks like that got our game with Oregon wrong. This one looks accurate.I can't make sense of this website. Are they penciling a loss to Arizona? It says we are 14-4 (we are 14-3) and we are 4-2 in conference (we are 3-1)

Absolutely, makes our loss more palatableNorthern Iowa is putting together a pretty sweet season.
Yep. Also, Dayton is having a good week. Beat VCU even with Toppin gimpy on a bad ankle. If they take care of a good St. Louis tonight, they might move into the AP Top 10. That would be well deserved. Lost to KU by 6 and CU on an OT buzzer beater. Both neutral site games, I believe. Those are the only blemishes on their resume. A lot of solid wins without any elite wins, but still one of the best seasons in the country on paper.Northern Iowa is putting together a pretty sweet season.
Omaha is a host site, and the Bracketology says we would play Iowa, which is blah. Would be nice to get placed down in Houston or Sacramento for weather and regional appeal.
I wonder why? Didn't they see the end of the...oh wait...nevermindLooks like that got our game with Oregon wrong. This one looks accurate.

They actually have last years home loss to OSU on 1/31 in there for some reason. They have the Oregon game this year correct.Looks like that got our game with Oregon wrong. This one looks accurate.
I might be the only one here, but I would love to see the Buffs play Duke this year. With our D I think we have as good a shot as anyone, and it would be as high profile a win as this program has seen in a long time. Sure, we've had a Kansas win in the recent past, but nothing gets the attention of the media as a W against Dook.A few things-One, Houston's a regional site. We'd have to get to the Sweet 16 to get there if the committee puts us in the South region. Two, there's no spectacular first weekend site-games that weekend are going to places like Cleveland, Spokane, and Greensboro (Yes, we must give Duke homecourt in round one). I wouldn't mind playing in Omaha if we're doing it as a 3-4 seed. I'll pass on a scenario where we're playing a de facto road game in the round of 32 (Duke in Greensboro, Gonzaga in Spokane, Florida State in Tampa? etc)
I’d love a shot at Duke as long as it’s after the first week of the Dance. I really don’t want to be in the 7-10 seed range this year. I want that path that gets us to a Sweet 16 with an opener we’re strongly favored to win and a second round that’s a 40-60% likelihood for a win. After that, I’m happy to go in with a puncher’s chance against an elite if we can make it through..I might be the only one here, but I would love to see the Buffs play Duke this year. I watched that. Santa Clara has a nice team this year and it wouldn't surprise me to see them on the Dance bubble at the end. But they were completely overmatched against the Zags. It didn't even feel like they were playing badly. More like I was watching a pretty good team that had no chance. Few's got a great team this year.My God, Gonzaga gave the fighting Steve Nashes a beat down last night. Maybe that's a little too strong, they only won by 50.
Yeah, believe I underestimated them a bit. They play anywhere close to that level they did last night, they can ****ing beat anybody.I watched that. For sure, rather not see a Duke or a Gonzaga on the first weekend. I'd take this seeding:I’d love a shot at Duke as long as it’s after the first week of the Dance. The seed will fall wherever. What I really want is a friendly game site. Sacramento would be allsome with all the buff alumni in NorCal and the opportunity to play in LA if we make it out of the first weekend.
Huh. I just looked at the bracket and saw Sac to LA in the west.First and second round sites no longer have any bearing on where 2nd weekend games will be. You could play the first weekend in Albany and still be in the West region and go to Los Angeles for the sweet 16. They changed that several years ago.

It isn't as bad as you'd think - a fair portion of the fans there are Carolina, NC State, and WF fans and will cheer loudly for anyone playing against Duke. The hatred is such that they'd buy tix for just to cheer for the Buffs. Sure, there are Duke fans but mostly older alumni - it's nothing like Cameron w/ students.Fair. I'd rather not do it in Greensboro in front of a fairly hostile crowd lol

As someone who probably went to ~30ish ACC tourney games, it was always good fun to cheer against your rivals...This. Duke actually gets more haters than fans when playing ACC/NCAA tourney games in Greensboro or Charlotte. I've always found this very strange.
