The Buffs were one 2nd half defensive stop from winning this game. Then all of the braggerts would have had to find some other reason to toot their own horns tonight.

Come on man. The Buffs just gave up 45 points to an average Arizona team in a game that everyone marked as a win.

The negativity is annoying, but the "everything is fine" Leslie Nielsen routine is not much better.

coulda woulda shoulda

if ifs and buts were candy and nuts...

I was concerned we wouldn't score more than 24 points tonight. I had very few complaints about our O-line in the second half. Montez missed a couple of deep shots. Sefo probably makes those...and probably misses the 19 passes that Montez did complete. Overall, pleased with the Offense tonight.

Coming into this game, a few folks wondered if we could stop an offense that didn't utilize a pocket passer. No, we can't. Poor tackling, indeed. Our D-line got abused. But credit to Tate (who the **** is that guy?). That dude ran hard, is fast as hell, and possesses unbelievable vision too. Also, nice touch on that pass at the end of the game. I hate that ****ing guy, but what an amazing effort.

Be nice Ken. And no, I'm not from Seattle. But you've gotta admire a town that can turn the idea of throwing dead fish around in a smelly public market into a tourist attraction.

where in the hell did we find this elliott guy?

Is this him?

Alright I can’t even find the post game presser on YouTube can anyone help me out? **** this game was just.... embarrassing to say the least

I've got so much to say but I won't. I'm pretty adamant about what Duff has said, he's right. If I knew FlaBuff wouldn't kick my ass six ways from Sunday, I'd do so.

If last year's team had dropped 2 more games, say Stanford and Oregon, and then won a lesser bowl game without having to get abused in the Pac12 title game; how would we all be looking at the trajectory of the program?

It's way too easy to get too excited by winning 41-38 over Oregon (who turned out to be garbage) last year; and way too down by losing 45-42 to Arizona, who may end up being a pretty solid team this year.

That said, this one stings because it's a tough road to 6 wins now, and getting to a bowl should be a minimum standard.

Arizona is not going to be a solid team this year. They got to play a team that just can't adjust, tackle, seal a gap...

Question, we're you talking about me? I'd agree with you if so.

No one should/would be happy giving 45 points to Arizona at home.

Problem is....we never really stopped them.....it was like #14 was playing against a high school team...MM and his staff should be ashamed....

Lack of leadership, both on O and D. Biggest difference this year to last.

No one hold anyone accountable. Penalties, lack of effort, etc.

I'd expect the locker room to implode in the next 2 -3 weeks.

Maybe Umu was an early sign

This team has no fire, no leadership, and worst of all, no discipline. 12 frickin penalties are you kidding me. There is no desire. It makes me sick to watch. Literally sick. It's like the Hawkins era all over again.

On a positive note I was very critical of Lindsay early in the season but now, he is our only warrior.

Other than that I'm disgusted

I can't really get behind a team that takes an unnecessary roughness cheap shot penalty at least once a game. We have two guys kicked out of the NC game for obvious targeting and nobody is addressing it. Tonight we had two unnecessary roughness penalties and I literally watched Luguda stare his guy down instead of tacking the runner. Who the f*** does he think he is. I mean there is a real lack of character on this team. I heard someone say that if you are seeing something in the field, the coaches are either allowing it or coaching it. I have lost patience with undisciplined. I can live with "not as good" but I cannot stomach undisciplined.
I've been a huge fan of MM since he got here but I'm beginning to wonder if his heart is in it. He doesn't seem to be fixing any of the character issues that have plagued this team all year. I really think that this tumpkin bulls*** has taken the wind out his sails.
If I'm Rick George I'm pulling MM into the office and telling him that he better first and foremost make sure we stop beating ourselves and telling him that right now Those guys don't represent the university well.

Last year the team was easy to cheer for and this year....not so much.

Bad football. Just plain bad football.

MacIntyre is a very strong organizational coach. He needs to move away from assistants in that lane. Hire recruiters. He's good enough on the other stuff to coach up the coaches but he needs dudes.

I know everyone on this site loves your opinions, but you don't seem to get it - MacIntyre is a loser at this level and always has been. That was as disgraceful a coaching performance as I have ever seen at CU on defense tonight. He hired DJ Eliott, who was clueless on how to stop the QB from running wild.

Without Jim Leavitt, MacIntyre is already gone. IMO, he will be fired by CU. The only question is will it be the the easy way (after this year or next at the latest), or 4 years from now?

He needs to improve the quality of this staff significantly. He does not have the Rolodex nor personality

NO - MacIntyre needs to be fired ASAP, regardless of the $$$ owed to him. Don't put good money after bad. Get rid of him immediately - it will be less expensive in the long run.

He's not going anywhere for a minimum of 3 years

FBS record for most combined rushing yards for opposing players so at least Phil takes something away from this. But he won't because he has heart.
