I am STILL pissed off about last years game. 11 point 4th quarter lead and we piss down our leg. I about lost my mind watching that travesty. Vengeance is at hand. We must beat them without mercy and with extreme prejudice.
 
That was so frustrating. That game was after KO had gotten hurt and Addison had already been down for a while. Our rotation at LB was 3 freshmen (Gamboa, Watanabe and Falo) and they not only wore down but had a ton of trouble adjusting to the change-up to a running QB. Even with that, the offense had every opportunity to put the game away to take a lot of that pressure off of them.
 
I honestly don't remember much from that game. Probably a good thing. I must of tried hard the last year erasing it from memory.

I nearly got into a fight on the stands. I was losing my sh!t. We had the game. It was over. Then UA busts off like three 25+ yard runs and scores in like a minute and a half. No problem, we still have the lead...

Please don't force me to re-live that abortion of a football game.
 
The revenge tour continues. I'll be disappointed/pissed if we don't win by at least 2, probably 3, scores. This will be a litmus test for the O...is it struggling against talented Ds or is there something wrong here...guessing the former. Go Buffs!! Beat the kitties!!

Oh, no **** about last year. I did the usual "get in for $25 and boldly sit in the second row on the 50, ten feet behind the visitors' bench" thing, and those Zonies were absolutely gassed on the sidelines at the end of the 3d Q, literally sucking oxygen out of tanks. I really thought the Buffs would win that one. Let's win one in their house. Make it 5 victories this season over teams that CU has never beaten during PAC12 play.

i am all for opening up a costco-sized can of whoop-ass on these folks, but can we do it without 8 ****ing personal fouls? no reason we can't bully this dog-crap team into a quivering mass of gelatinous animal byproduct goo. no need to go all dennis ericsson on their arses.

Exactly. I'd love to see a business trip with everything in sync and clicking on the way to a comfortable win.

There is no reason for getting multiple 15 yard penalties in one game just for things said and gestures made. That's not Coach Mac or Leavitt football. None of that crap will happen in Tucson, I guaranty you. The current Zonies players, although beaten down this season, have years of remembering alway beating the Buffs. Take care of business.
 
Let UCLA teach us that we can't assume we'll just show up and roll over a team. Especially on the road. We simply aren't talented enough for that attitude. This team has to be ready. Watch the Washington/Arizona overtime game 10 times if they must.

That has to be more roadies we've won in one year in a long long time. We aren't too far removed from 22 game road losing streak.

I think we beat Arizona, but we are going to have to play better than we did on offense than we did against UCLa if we are going to beat Wazzu and the Yoots
 
I feel like our guys may have overlooked UCLA a bit. Can't have that attitude against Arizona. We must play smarter and better than Arizona and the rest our opponents this year. All of the teams goals are still alive but they will remain so only if the team stays focused. These kids set the bar high this year. Let's see them get there. Go Buffs!

The good thing is that the UCLA game should have been a wake up call to the team and it won't happen again. There's no reason to believe it will.

But, these are still college kids, so I suppose you never know.

The offense has struggled against 2 teams for the past 3 weeks. I'm not sure what they need to do to clean it up. I'm thinking less designed Sefo runs and more handoffs to Lindsay.

I think the offense ran up against a couple of very physical defensive lines and couldn't control the trenches the way they did earlier in the season. It happened against U$C as well.

UA doesn't have that kind of line, so that should be a positive.
