Arizona, you are next.

The offense did move the ball pretty good against Stanford. They just had a difficult time with actual penetration...of the end zone.
Same could be said for the UCLA game. We probably left 21 points on the field.

Ultimately style points don't count, just keep winning. Would feel more confident vs Wazzu if we throttled AZ this Sat though. If we struggle against AZ then it is definitely scary if we fall too far behind an explosive offense like Leach is rolling with now.

I sure hope so.

Offense needs to get focused back up, up tempo, and do way better in the red zone. Those down the field throws have been non existent, TE- do we have one? OL needs to really step up their game. This game needs to be about getting the O rhythm and timing back on track. Sefo needs to stop with the 1 and 2 yard dive plays and definitely stop with the turnovers.

Agree with those of you saying CU's OL needs to step up. Yes, they played tough DLs, but gotta be better.
Sefo needs to and can play better. He said so himself. His better play comes with improved OL.
I don't worry about the D....they hold their own and will again.

We are giving up an average of 16 pts/game in conference play. Arizona is creating 17.7 points/game in conference play.

So what are ESPNs sage predictors expecting to happen on Saturday? They all predict a Buff win, but they anticipate Arizona getting 24, 21, 21, 21, and 33 points respectively. That last one is Ted Miller. Some folks just never learn.

According to ESPN score's page, Stubhub has 1,363 tickets available starting at $9 lol. I guess I shouldn't be laughing though cause CU was giving away tickets the last decade.

watched them play wsu last week. we should be able to run and throw on these dudes. Dawkins worries me more then Soloman. Dawkins being a little more fleet a foot and pretty accurate, but does throw a lot of wild passes. Should get some picks? I am saying 3, 2 by DB's and 1 by an LB. Their RB's are not scary at all, no Ka'deem Carey thats for sure. The DL looks a little light in the pants, not much pass rush? Our OL should gain some confidence.

Latest thought: What would a coach like RR do given that a) his 2016 aspirations are done b) he has a team full of injuries c) he is on the hot seat and d) he has to play the nations 9th best defense on Saturday:

1 - Treat it as a regular week and just play football
2 - Just give up and build for 2017 and 2018 by playing underclassman
3 - Experiment with personnel and rotations to see if something finally works
4 - Devise an off the wall, tricky offensive game plan that will probably fail, but might just work and bring some dignity to his season

I think 2 is mostly off the table because RR is on the hot seat. For the same reason 1 is off the table. Got to think we will see some of 3. Also RR is one of those inventive dudes (he did invent the spread option after all!); so I just obsess we are going to get some unusual angle Saturday; something we just can't see coming. Be ready for anything Buffs!!!

Injuries? Excuses? He has 2 guys out and one questionable. Link.

I think they lost more prior to the season that aren't tracked. Nick Wilson is out for 2016. Must of has other injuries at RB cause they had to convert a WR. A key Olineman passed away this summer...

Earlier in year Anu Solomon was out. I think he has just returned.

If Hollywood has taught us anything, I would tell Addison Gillam to wear a cup this weekend.

light in the pants...hmmm very interesting...did you mean light in the loafers?

For some reason, I worry about a late night game. Arizona is a place where dream seasons have gone to die three of the last four seasons. I'm very worried. They were totally embarrassed last week on the road and are returning home. Their season is now about upsetting teams. They have nothing to lose.
