Baylor AD worries that tumult at school could impact coach search
Poor **** bailer
Prominent Baylor alumni and donors advocated for reforming the school's board of regents and demanded transparency from university leaders Thursday, while deflecting questions about football and whether the group would advocate for the return of former head football coach Art Briles.

Former Texas Gov. Mark White, also one of the founders, said he blames the board of regents for the school's failure to implement the guidelines issued in a letter sent to colleges and universities in 2011 from the U.S. Department of Education on how to carry out Title IX, the gender equity law that requires schools to investigate allegations of sexual violence.
"They ignored that letter. They treated it as though it didn't matter. As a result we went for years not taking care of the needs of people who were sexually assaulted on this campus," he said. "It was not confined to the athletic department. ... It is a Baylor problem, not an athletic problem."
Although speakers at the event Thursday did not mention football or Briles in their opening statements, McLane and some other founders of Bears for Leadership Reform have been highly critical of the school's firing of Briles in connection with the Pepper Hamilton law firm's investigation into sexual assault complaints at Baylor.
On Thursday, McLane said he wanted to see Briles' "honor restored" but that he has not seen evidence -- either way -- to say whether his firing was justified.
"We are here to do the will of God. To do the right things and to be strong Christians, and to have a powerful influence," McLane said to the crowd.
No, I think Sonny Dykes will still hotfoot it out of Cal. Especially with Calli seceding....https://sports.yahoo.com/news/baylo...hool-could-impact-coach-search-005726725.html

Poor **** bailer
This is a school statement where the school confirms Briles knew of a sexual assault and kept quiet. Why in god's ****ing name isn't the school taking action when the entire football team goes on a season long martyrdom trip where they try to portray a football coach who covered up several ****ing sexual assaults as the victim?!?!

To place the news accounts in context, here are the facts about the underlying report of sexual assault: In April 2013, a female student-athlete reported to her head coach that she had been sexually assaulted by five Baylor football players approximately one year earlier. The student-athlete provided her head coach with the names of the involved football players. The head coach immediately reported the assault, including the names of the reported players, to the then-Athletic Director, to the head football coach, and to the sports administrator for the female student-athlete's team. According to Baylor's investigation, neither the head coach, the Athletic Director, the sports administrator or the football coach disclosed the reported sexual assault to Baylor's Judicial Affairs or to anyone else outside of the Athletics Department.
It's gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. How are they this bad at things?
Sort of. The dude still has a job at **** Bailer.smh...can it get any weirder?
Well, first they need to check if the reporter violated the honor code. If yes, they will inform him pressing charges means they must follow through with notifying his parents.Sort of. The dude still has a job at **** Bailer.
