Biggest surprise of the season and reason for hope Saturday

Ben Burney at cornerback has been the biggest surprise for the Buffs this season. The pass defense looks much improved and Burney's a big part of that. Dykes is solid against the run and Walters lays the wood, but neither can be called great in coverage. I expected whoever played opposite Wheatley to get torched like a Chinatown diner that forgot to pay protection--it hasn't happened yet.

CU's only chance Saturday is to blitz the OU qb early and often, which means Burney and Wheatley will be be asked to man up. Here's to Burney meeting that challenge. :thumbsup:
