The Colorado preview is free, but the rest can only be accessed by ESPN Insiders. But you can find in-depth analysis of the offense, defense, special teams, newcomers and an overview of each team.* Here's a sampling:
The Buffaloes did too many things last season to beat themselves. They were 92nd in the country in scoring offense, 88th in scoring defense and 97th in turnover ratio. The 2009 Buffs were at best just an inconsistent team with wins over Kansas and Texas A&M and losses to Toledo and Kansas State.
"Our task really is to clean it up a little bit," Hawkins said. "Get a little momentum, get a little confidence and all that stuff changes. And I think our guys are up to that task."
The Buffaloes need to get off to a good start. Last year they opened the season with a 23-17 loss to state rival Colorado State, and in a quick turnaround with a Friday night road game, they were defeated by Toledo, 54-36. Colorado ended up starting the season with a 1-4 record, losing the conference opener at Texas. Colorado's non-conference schedule may be tougher this season -- and the Buffs also played Wyoming and West Virginia last year.
