You not wild on the replacement?Wow.
Get your money in on Okie Lite right now.
I hope hes ok... the timing seems worrisome from a health standpoint
You not wild on the replacement?
Riley was being groomed for over a year. The timing does seem odd. Although when you stop to think about it, it makes some sense. Recruiting is in a quiet period. The season doesn't start for another three months. Lots of time for the new guy to get his feet under him. I suspect this was not a surprise to most program insiders.
True. I was more curious if you knew much about his pedigree and if you found him to be an able replacement with solid upside. I have never heard his name.Big task as a first time head coach to handle that pressure.

They did just fine with the previous coach with no HC experience in Stoops.

My UT friends are positively giddy.
Can anyone think of a coaching example that has worked out to even be remotely successful? They should be. This is like when Mack Brown left. When a so dominant figure leaves, the immediate successor is almost always destined to fail. Only 2 exceptions I can think of are Montana/Young and Favre/Rodgers (and I think it's fair to mention QBs here).
