Bobby Petrino

I do wonder what the Hell happened at Louisville. They were so good and are now so bad. I realize an elite QB can cover a lot of deficiencies, but that’s a team that just fell off the cliff.

Lamar Jackson was amazing and no one really wanted to work for Petrino. Three family members were on his coaching staff.

77-35 at Lilouisville...119-56 overall..better record than ANY CU coach since Mac 1...by FAR...Gary 92-94 record. Proven.

No thanks.
MMac is not the answer to get us to next level, but there are plenty good options out there. No need to sell our souls to the Devil. A quick fix with some slim ball does us no good. The next coach should have the integrity to stay here for the long haul.

Fired...go get him

Glad this was made into a new thread. Thought maybe I might miss it somewhere hidden in another thread

Prior to this season...34 wins in 4 years..average 8.5 wins per year....immediate upgrade....
Prior to the 2017 season, Petrino is the guy I thought was so good that I didn't care that he's a scumbag. His generation's Spurrier as a playcaller and offensive mind. But it has gone off the rails. Word is that his rep is so bad as a person that no one wants to work for him and he can't put a staff together. It has killed recruiting and also results in some division because if you're not a relative of his you're looking for your next job while on his staff.
