I wouldn’t take them as gospel a lot of different people have reported different names as still being in the hunt.
They are reporting what they are hearing from sources and you have to think they are well connected.

So is everyone else and they’ve been wrong multiple times in the past.
Footballscoop is often in a hurry to be first (i.e. get the scoop). Facts are sort of secondary to them.
They are reporting BB and JC as "strong candidates" not finalists. Have to think they choose their words very carefully.
